- If you click on this button,
- printing of labels will start, using
- the number of copies & the label
- spacing you have selected.
- If the printer isn't ready (off
- line or out of paper), you will
- see a warning message and
- printing will not be attempted.

- Letter Quality:-
- If you have a special font set in
- your printer, do NOT choose "Letter
- Quality" from the menu or your
- printer will use the font selected
- in the system Printer Prefs,
- regardless of how your printer is
- currently set up. Leave the labels
- printing set for "Draft Quality".

- NEW FILE

- This button lets you select a new
- data (name & address) file to be
- printed. You can then print labels
- for someone else.

- While in HELP mode you can click on
- any selection gadget/button to see
- an explanation of what it does.

- Clicking on the selection displays
- will not do anything. They only
- show you a confirmation of what you
- have chosen.

- For a general explanation of this
- program please read the document
- file LabSelect.doc, which you can do
- by clicking on its icon. That file
- also explains how to prepare your
- address data files.

- includes saving your settings.

- VIEW

- This will show one copy of the
- address label you selected, on the
- right-hand side of the screen (in
- this View window).

- Across the top is a scale which
- shows you the 'printing offset' you
- will get. By moving the 'Print
- offset' slider, OR by entering a
- value in the number gadget beside
- it, you can change the left margin
- before printing.

- Two horizontal lines represent the
- top and bottom edges of your label.

- PRINT OFFSET

- You can alter the left margin of
- the address by either sliding the
- gadget or entering the desired
- offset in the little number box.

- If you are viewing your data at the
- same time, you will see the text
- move sideways to show how it will be
- printed relative to the left margin
- you set on the printer.
